Our Team
Felecia Farrell, LCSW, RYT (she/her)
Founder & Clinical Director
Felecia Farrell, LCSW, RYT is a psychotherapist, professor, yoga instructor, and founder of Alline Therapy - a group practice with clients and therapists around the world dedicated to helping all people align their lives and build a new path forward.
Before receiving her master's degree from Columbia University in Advanced Clinical Social Work, she attended Williams College in Massachusetts.
On her own healing journey, the practice of yoga helped her find balance between mind and body. In 2017, she completed her 200-hour yoga instructor training and began teaching yoga classes throughout New York City.
Felecia is committed to helping clients increase their authentic self-expression and improve communication skills so that they can foster meaningful relationships with themselves and with others.
She practices from a trauma-informed perspective and racial equity lens and understands each client is an intersection of the various identities they are balancing (e.g. race, gender, sexuality, culture). She has specialized training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, which she combines with other modalities to help clients actualize a deeper sense of self-awareness.
Felecia is currently an active faculty member at Columbia University, teaching graduate students foundational skills for the practical application of therapeutic techniques.
When she's not teaching classes at Columbia, leading workshops, or supporting clinicians at Alline, you can find her on long runs throughout New York or rolling out her mat to dive deeper into her yoga practice.
Gabrielle Francis (she/her)
Advanced Clinical Intern
“Be the person you needed when you were younger”, through my motto, I have made it my mission to give back to the younger population in communities where mental health is taboo due to culture, race, and religion.
As a second-year clinical social work student, I am committed to creating an environment where individuals can tap into their inner person and be their most authentic selves. In this space, we are ready to conquer life at its worst and best and learn tools to help us navigate.
My goal is to provide practical tools and support tailored to individual needs. In sessions, we will identify issues at hand. We will focus on understanding and reframing thoughts, behaviors, and negative thought patterns that contribute to challenges and interfere with day-to-day life. I am particularly interested in working with children and families, youth, and young adults.
Those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, work/school issues, and more will find that integrating the cognitive approach will aid in addressing the negative thought patterns and will help foster healthier coping strategies. Let’s work together so that positivity is not just a now but a forever.
Leena El-Gammal (she/her)
Advanced Clinical Intern
Leena El-Gammal is a student at the Columbia School of Social Work and MSW intern. Growing up as a daughter of immigrants in diaspora, she has experienced firsthand the stigma and lack of cultural understanding that often prevent individuals in immigrant communities from seeking mental health care.
Her background has fueled a deep commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by these communities, including discrimination, acculturation stress, language barriers, and a lack of culturally literate therapy. Leena uses a person-based approach through strength-based practices, while taking a systemic lens to the effects a client’s culture, relationships, and environment have on one another.
She provides space to address the identity issues and dual nature of being part of two seemingly opposing cultures, breaking language barriers, stigma, and guilt — working with clients towards self-actualization, holistic healing, and a better understanding of themselves within their environments.
Rohun Sendhey (he/him)
Advanced Clinical Intern
Rohun is a graduate student at Columbia University completing a Master’s degree in Social Work. He has worked across the mental health industry for over four years including roles within direct clinical practice, client relationships, business development, AI-driven solutions, and billing. Rohun challenges the underpinnings of mental wellness and addictive behaviors, and focuses to work with clients to better understand their individual goals. He recognizes that successful treatment and progress is ultimately a victory for the client to move forward within their own life.
Rohun encourages clinical strategies from a lens that recognizes real-world struggles and setbacks. He emphasizes building strong interpersonal relationships, recognizing and working towards self-actualization, and maintaining a long-lasting mindset that promotes positive psychology.
